This unique one of a kind spoon rest was wheel thrown. After it's bisque firing it was hand painted with this colorful mushroom design. After bisque firing the piece was glazed and fired again to cone 6. There is a lip that is turned town so the handle of the spoon can set in it. I show it with a large wooden spoon so you can get an idea. The spoon rest measures approx. 5 3/4" across x 1 1/4" deep. All glazes are food safe. This is a hand made one of a kind item. Each spoon rest will be slightly different in shape and size. Some are larger than others so check size.
These spoon rests can be used for many different things. I use one as a coaster for my olive oil bottle. They can hold a bar of soap or a pot scrubber. The smaller spoon rests would also work as a used tea bag holder. You could use one to set a pillar or votive candle on. The possibilities are endless.
