This beautiful large bird figurine was sculpted, hand painted with underglaze and then the underglaze was carved through. After bisque firing blue glaze was applied to the wings and tail and clear glaze was applied over the underglaze. The piece was then fired to cone 6. It would be a wonderful addition to anyone's collection. He can be displayed inside or out. If you are in areas where it freezes I would bring him inside for the winter.
