This beautiful piece was sculpted from stoneware clay. It depicts an homage to the American Goldfinch Bird sitting on a pale pink Cone Flower. After sculpting the piece it was dried, then bisque fired. After bisque firing, the bird was under glazed and the flower was glazed. The piece measures approx. 3 3/4" tall x 6 1/2" long x 5 3/4" wide.
