This art tile depicts a beautiful Spanish Luna Moth with Ginkgo leaf design. I hand built the tile using stoneware clay which I then bisque fired. After the bisque I hand painted the piece using underglazes and overglaze and it was fired again. I put it in this beautiful stained oak frame that was made especially for and to match this tile. This piece is signed by me. The tile itself measures approx. 5 1/4" x 7 3/4". Total measurements framed are approx. 8" x 10 1/2" x 1" deep. This is a one of a kind piece. Each tile I make is different. I don't make an original that I cast others from. Each tile I make is the original and one of a kind.
