This art tile depicts butterfly koi fish swimming in a pond with lily pads and lotus flowers. I hand sculpted it using stoneware clay which I then bisque fired. After the bisque I glazed the piece and it was fired again. I put it in this beautiful stained oak frame that was made especially for and to match this tile. This piece is signed by me. The tile itself measures approx. 8" x 13". Total measurements framed are approx. 12 1/2" x 17 1/2" x 2" deep. This is a one of a kind piece. Each tile I make is different. I don't make an original that I cast others from. Each tile I make is the original and one of a kind.
