This unique hanging ceramic Tray was made to water honey bees and hummingbirds. It is hand made out of stoneware clay, bisque fired, glazed and fired again. Fill it with the included glass pebbles and fill with water to just under the top of the pebbles to give the insects and hummingbirds a place to stand while they drink, adding fresh water and cleaning every few days. The tray measures approx. 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" x approx. 1 1/2" deep. I hand sculpted this piece using a large hosta leaf for the base and had sculpted the butterfly I added to the tray. Then a sturdy chain was added so you can hang it from a tree. The chain can be taken off if you'd rather set the tray in your garden.
